Our Wound Care # Hyperbaric Center currently consists of two RNs, three MAs, one HBO Tech, one NP, and three podiatrists.# We treat over 400 patients a month in wound care and about 80 in HBO.# This position allows us to cover RN vacations/out days# otherwise we have to cancel clinics # patient visits/encounters. Every patient visit requires a nurse assessment and documentation.### The Wound # Ostomy Nurse Clinician serves as a resource and consultant to patients, physicians, non-physician providers, nursing staff and other members of the health care team in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care for patients with wounds, fistulas, percutaneous tubes, ostomies, incontinence and actual or potential skin breakdown.# Incorporates evidence-based nursing practices consistent with national standards and which support quality outcomes and are fiscally sound.### # MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:# Bachelor#s degree in nursing, Current Montana registered nursing license, 5 years of nursing experience dealing with medical, surgical or critical care patients, Current national certification as a Certified Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse (CWOCN), Certified Wound Care Nurse (CWCN), Certified Ostomy Care Nurse (COCN), or equivalent certification is preferred or need to be certification eligible in order to obtain certification within the 18 months of employment, teaching experience, preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered .
